The Midweek Evening Ministry at Christ Triumphant Church is changing!
Prior to mentioning the changes, here
is what is remaining the same:
.
Wednesday Evening Youth
Ministry – Our youth will continue to meet on Wednesday evenings at 7 PM. There is a team that meets
and works together to insure that your students are having provided a quality youth ministry. This includes:
- Wednesday
evenings: Fellowship/“hanging
out” at the Youth “Holy Grounds” Café, worship, teaching and one-on-one ministry time.
- Youth Connections Group: A time to “connect” with other students
in an informal setting. Corwyn and Katie Strout host this in their home on the 1st and
3rd Sundays, 6 PM.
- Activities:
This includes: NFL Watch Party (Sunday Jan 22nd, 1:30-5:30PM); Valentines (dress up) Banquet (Wednesday
Feb 15th); Winter Jam Concert (Sprint Center, Fri Feb 17th, leave at 6PM).
Changes:
Children’s
Intercession:
Prayer/being in God’s presence is what changes us! Pastor Carol’s challenge, “Give
me your child for this year and their lives will be changed forever…!”
- Pastor Carol is a teacher and mentor for our children! She has heard clearly that there must be a change in
our midweek children’s ministry and has a God-given assignment to mentor our children in the area of prayer for 2012.
To emphasize that change, the night will also change. Starting February 7th, intercession
will take place on Tuesdays, 6:45-8PM! Your children will be taught and given practical, hands on “coaching”
on: praying the Word, praying for the sick, “soaking” prayer, prayer walking, hearing and praying, etc.
This will be done in several different ways including using “Prayer Stations” where the core values of
Christ Triumphant Church will be prayed for consistently.
Wednesday evening adult ministry will also transition. The time will be used for various types of training as announced
(Connection leaders, Altar Ministry, Children’s ministry, etc.)
We look forward to these changes as we are convinced we have heard from Holy Spirit
and these are The Father’s plans to see His Son’s bride better equipped!
